Women rule! series of workshops
act up’s Women rule! workshop is all female creative series that is run by women for women, because, let’s face it, women are absolutely awesome. This series will run for four weeks and will be fun skills-based series where you can meet like-minded performers.
The workshop areas covered and much more:
- Voice warm up and voice exercises / production
- Working on your physical presence and confidence
- Using a range of materials such as stories, poems, texts and plays
- Techniques for reading aloud, feeling connected with your material and audience
- Looking at works by female writers and directors
- How to make your own work and develop your artistic voice
Who’s this for? Absolutely everyone, this workshop will inspire, motivate and get you feeling creative and supported!
Cost: £72 full price and £56 concessionary price
