One To Ones.


Auditioning for drama school entrance.  You must have chosen your pieces and be ready to go.  We will recommend an actor to work with you and a date and a time will be selected that is convenient for both. If you have access to a space that is not domestic than happy for the actor to come to you, else we can assist you in renting a space. This will be an additional charge but only the actual cost of the space.

Cost: £45 for a single hour and £80 for two consecutive hours.


Enrol

Professional auditioning.  If you are an actor and have an important audition on the horizon and would like a final push.  We will recommend an actor to work with you and a date and a time will be selected that is convenient for both. If you have access to a space that is not domestic than happy for the actor to come to you, else we can assist you in renting a space. This will be an additional charge but only the actual cost of the space.

Careers Advice. Discuss becoming an actor, developing your CV and maintaining your career as an actor or even advice on producing your own play or setting up your own business.  If you have any questions before you book, please ask away. The sessions will be with Gemma Lloyd and can take place in Love Art, Tooting Market or the Festival Hall, Southbank.  A time and date will be found that is convenient for both of us.

Cost: £35 for a single hour and £60 for two consecutive hours.

Short-Term Courses

Play In A Weekend.

This course can only be booked by a group of friends or colleagues, minimum is four people and maximum is eight. You don’t need to have had any previous acting experience to take part.




CREATE, CAST, DESIGN, REHEARSE and PRESENT a play to an invited audience in just two days. Ever wanted to know what it’s like to put on a play, feel like creatively challenging yourself, then we suggest you leap onto this course.

So You Want To Produce A Play?


A practical course for anyone that would like to produce a play run by Gemma Lloyd.

Gemma has produced in theatre, film and dance and describes herself as a front-line producer.  She’s produced on the London Fringe and in venues like JW3 and the Bush Theatre as well as several UK tours and  a dance project that ran at Sadler’s Wells. In film, a short she produced No Love Lost won over 18 world-wide competitions and recently she promoted the feature STILL, starring Aidan Gillen and Amanda Mealing.

The course will cover:

Working with a writer. The relationship between you and the director.  Seeking funding, there is still some about including the Arts Council and crowd-funding.  Choosing and winning a venue for your production. Gathering the most effective creative team around you and casting your play. Finding and targeting your audience. Marketing your play. Inviting the critics. And keeping going.

Places are limited to 8 and you don’t need to have had previous producing experience to take part.

Is there a story inside you?

Writing for stage and film! We believe there’s a story inside everyone, it just needs to be unlocked.
Not a tutorial as such but more of a sharing of techniques and inspirations that enable us to write.


11.00am-6.00pm

It will take place over a day and will be run by an established writer who will be joined by a producer in the afternoon to discuss the relationship between writing and the transition from page to performance.
